KESIAPAN MAHASISWA CALON GURU MENGHADAPI TANTANGAN ERA REVOLUSI INDUSTRI 4.0

Abstract


Changes in technology greatly affect a person's understanding, perspective and lifestyle. as well as the role of teachers in relation to classroom teaching, it is certain that there will be changes. So that if the teacher does not follow these changes, learning in the classroom becomes dry and meaningless. This paper wants to describe the readiness of prospective teacher students to face the challenges of education in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 with challenges that are changing rapidly. There are at least 4 things that must be a point of change in action in accordance with the demands of the first sustainable development goals related to Satisfying Personal Talent, Satisfying Civil Responsibilities, Carrying Out Traditions and Values and Contributing to Work and Society. For that we need a set of teacher candidates' abilities to teach related to learning and innovation skills, information, media and technology skills, and life and career skills. There are 4 things that student teacher candidates must have, namely, having independent values, having an entrepreneurial mindset, lifelong learners, and learning leadership.
