PENGARUH PENERAPAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN BRAINSTORMING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS III SD NEGERI 42 PEKANBARU

Abstract


This research discusses one of the alternative learning methods than can helps students expand the knowledge, think critically, and think creatively which raise the creative ideas so that students are interested and consider that science is not a boring subject. The objective of this research was to find out the difference of significant learning outcomes on science between the experimental and control class. The type of this research was quasi-experimental research with non-equivalent control group design. The result of the research showed that there was no significant difference on the outcome of science learning between experimental and control class. The average of pretest of student’s learning outcomes in experimental class was 56,286 became 69,428 on the posttest and gain was 0,3 categorized as low. Whereas, the average of pretest in control class was 55,857 increased to 67,714 on the posttest and gain was 0,268 also categorized as low.
