PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK TALK WRITE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS LAPORAN SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI 115 PEKANBARU

Abstract


The tendency in the teaching and learning process which only provides learning writing skills theoretically, is less in practice. While factors from students include low motivation, limited ability, unwillingness to write, and lack of writing practice. Such conditions of students with teacher learning models that are less varied and innovative, make PBM writing skills a burden for students. Based on the problems found above, the author feels interested in making improvements to learning by applying the Think Talk Write (TTW) type of learning model to improve report writing skills of fifth grade students of Pekanbaru Elementary School 115. Object as many as 29 students. This study uses the Classroom Action Research method carried out in 2 cycles. The activities carried out by the teacher at the first meeting of the first cycle were 63.00% with the moderate category and the second meeting the average activity carried out was 79.00% in the good category. In the activity of teachers in the second cycle of the first meeting the average activity of teachers is 92.00% with a very good category and in the second cycle the average activity of teachers is 96.00% with a very good category. As for the activities of students in the first cycle of the first meeting the average activity of students was 63.00% (medium category), the second meeting increased to 71.00% (good category), the second cycle of the first meeting the average activity of students was 79.00 % with good categories, and at the second meeting the average activity of students is 88.00% or in the good category. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the Cooperative Type Think Talk Write learning model can improve the report writing skills of class V students of SD Negeri 115 Pekanbaru.
