ANALYSIS OF STRENGTHENING CHARACTER EDUCATION VALUES IN THE NOVEL LASKAR PELANGI BY ANDREA HIRATA

Abstract


This study aims to analyze the response of elementary school students to thematic learning assisted by teaching aids in the 2013 curriculum. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and questionnaires. The instrument of this study was a questionnaire distributed to grade IV and class V students. The study was conducted in SD Negeri 01 Palembang, SD Negeri 04 Palembang, dan SD Negeri 24 Palembang. Questionnaire as an instrument of research has 4 aspects, namely interest, presentation of information, delivery of instructions, and content. These four aspects are represented by statements. When the statement is on the agreed criteria and strongly agrees, it means students give a positive response. However, when the statement is on the criteria of disagree and strongly disagrees, it means students give a negative response. Based on the results of the questionnaire response analysis of students who were in the agreed criteria and strongly agreed, students gave a positive response to thematic learning assisted by teaching aids in the 2013 curriculum
